It’s all about you — but here’s why I can help

My journey into understanding the power of nutrition began when long-term post-viral illness left me chronically fatigued, breathless and struggling with multiple symptoms.

With little support available at the time, I turned to my background in biological chemistry to understand what was happening in my body.

What I discovered changed everything.

By adjusting my nutrition and lifestyle in targeted, evidence-based and enjoyable ways, I experienced profound improvements in both physical and mental health.

That experience led me to study nutrition at postgraduate level — so I could properly understand the science and help others benefit in the same way.

And my one-to-one clinical training demonstrated first-hand how even small nutrition and lifestyle changes can transform how people feel — and how empowering the right knowledge can be.

My approach blends scientific knowledge with real-life experience.

Alongside my professional training, I bring years of practical life experience — raising four children, cooking for a busy family, running my own cake decorating business, teaching classes and volunteering as a school governor. These experiences have strengthened my ability to listen, communicate clearly and provide reliable, supportive guidance. I have a wealth of recipe ideas to get those healthy nutrients into your diet!

The result is advice that’s grounded in science but designed to work in real life.

How Nutritional Therapy can help you

Nutritional Therapy takes a personalised, root-cause approach to your health. I use evidence-based research to understand how nutritional and lifestyle imbalances may be contributing to your health concerns and symptoms, and together we create a plan to address these in ways that are practical and realistic for you, supporting you towards better health.

It’s not a diet or rigid meal plan. It’s about starting where you are now and making small, sustainable changes that fit your time, budget and goals - building strong foundations towards lasting health.

What matters most

Helping you feel understood, supported, confident and excited about the future - because health, both now and in the future, is about living fully.

My Approach

I Combine

  • scientific understanding of how the body works

  • real-life experience of making change

  • practical nutrition and cooking knowledge

  • genuine empathy and listening

This means advice that is:

  • evidence-based

  • personalised

  • realistic

  • sustainable

  • enjoyable

No perfection required.

Why I focus on healthy ageing

My academic research into postmenopausal health revealed just how dramatically our bodies change, how little practical support people receive and what may help people navigate these changes.

This has shaped my strong interest in healthy ageing and longevity - healthspan not just lifespan - for both women and men.

Small, achievable adjustments to diet and lifestyle can make a huge difference to long-term health, energy and quality of life.

That’s what I aim to help my clients achieve.
